Senator Bryan Avila
Bryan Avila is an America-First Conservative Republican politician who currently serves as a member of the Florida Senate, representing the 39th District. He is also a Captain in the Florida Army National Guard, where he has served his state and country for the past nine years. Avila previously served in the Florida House of Representatives, representing the 111th District—which includes parts of Miami and Hialeah—from 2014 to 2022. In recognition of his consistent conservative record, the American Conservative Union named him the Most Conservative Member of the Legislature in 2024.
Renowned as a conservative stalwart in the Florida State House from 2014 to 2022, Avila, consistently championed fiscally responsible and pro-family policies, leaving a notable impact on state governance. Avila was born in Hialeah, Florida, and graduated from Miami Springs High School in 2002. He attended Miami Dade College and earned his associate degree in 2004, followed by a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Miami in 2006. Avila later obtained a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice and a Master of Public Administration from Florida International University in 2010. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Cindy Gil-Avila, and together they have two children, Olivia and Brandon.
